How do I tell my parents that I don't want to go back to school?

II am 19 years old and I have just finished my first year of college. I took the nursing program that my parents "encouraged" me to take the September right after high school graduation. They pushed me so far I actually failed due to depression. Now that I'm off, I returned to my summer job that I have been able to keep for 4 years. I told them I was going to work and take the year off from school and at first they encouraged this, but now they're pressuring me to go back to school this September. All through high school, all I did was study and I wasted all my teenage years trying to please my parents. I just want to take a year off and know what it's like to be a real teenager for once. If they keep pressuring me and not treat me like a real member of the family, I'm just going to pack my stuff and leave. Even though I'm really scared to live on my own, since my parents were the only thing I really had. We never had a close relationship though.
