Looking for a Creative MMORPG!?

After getting tired of World of Warcraft, I was thinking of joining Aion. It has all the features I want in a game like having the ability to completely customize your character. So I went to download it and it said 17 hours remaining and after waiting 30 minutes it was only 2% done so that is out of the question. I love the games IMVU and The Sims because you can customize yourself on there but I also love World of Warcraft for the combat and strategy. So I was wondering - What is a good game similar to World of Warcraft but allows you to personalize yourself like Aion, IMVU, and The Sims? Thank you. (Btw please don't give me a game that takes hour after hour after hour to download.) :D
